Go-karts are the ultimate fun-mobiles to get a kid out there. But the days are over where you had to cough a fog of fatigue to the deafening rug of a single weeping, overworked piston. Nowadays, electric go-karts are providing children and adults alike with fast, quiet, and clean thrills around the local track or the neighborhood lady’s rose bushes.
Built for off-road driving as well as tarmac shenanigans, this little thing can achieve speeds of up to 20 mph (32 km/h) thanks to its 1000W generator. The go-kart is fitted with an adjustable seat for children and adults (noted as “7+-year-olds”) and has a weight limit of up to 220 lb (100 kg).
And if you’re concerned about running time, don’t think about it! The electric go-kart is actually 20 miles (32 km/h) from its 48V and 20Ah (960 Wh) battery pack. The only downside is the old-fashioned lead acid brick battery.
In reality, for $390, this electric go-kart looks pretty decent.
