Ford revealed today that in just 3.5 seconds, the Mustang Mach-E GT performance version will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph. It makes the Mach-E a real vehicle for success. For years, Ford said it was preparing a compact SUV/crossover for its first all-electric car, but it shocked everyone when it revealed that the vehicle would be a Mustang.
480 horsepower (358 kilowatts) and 634 lb.-ft of torque (860 newton-meter) with a range of 235 miles are supplied by the vehicle’s powertrain.
The Performance Version also includes “sporty components including 19-inch front brakes with red-painted Brembo calipers and 20-inch machined-face Ebony Black-painted pockets paired with summer 245/45R20 Pirelli tires and MagneRide damping to improve performance in handling.”
Ford is about to launch shipments of the Mustang Mach-E, but the kits for the GT and Performance Model will not be available until next year.
